3) SnT Melo for Lin and other salary/pieces

When given a choice between losing a valuable player for nothing or getting someone of value, GMs will do what it takes to get something of value in return if they know they are losing their free agents.

Whether it helps a team in the other conference isnt really that big of a concern

 

That seems reasonable? 18 for Melo, 12 for Lowry, 8 for Parsons?

Seems like it says they saw Carmelo walk into the offices followed by a food basket. I dont think it means anything, it's just bringing in some snacks for them to munch on while in the meeting.

Guys, really, not everything is a sign...when looking for explanations sometimes the most logical one is likely the right one.
