    its a mini-max deal 5yrs $90M = 18M/yr. Def not too many players that deserve that kind of money over him.

    lol what has Kyrie done that makes him deserving of a max? lead his team into the playoffs??? No, they could do just as bad putting raymond felton as their starter.. its not too hard to win as little as the Cavs last year.

    Kyrie and Wiggins is a good core to start with. They still need legitimate center help.

    The NBA has evolved into a game where you need a top flight point guard and a power forward who can post up and also has a mid-range jumper.

    Irving is probably the best ball handler in the NBA. He has a lot of other aspects to improve on, but I'd say he's definitely worth this contract. His ceiling is CP3. It's a no brainer and I'm sure most teams would be all over it.

    No, it's not. Cleveland now has Kyrie at point and a a player in Wiggins that is very close to KD in talent (probably higher ceiling than KD). Dion Waiters is the man from the bench like Harden. They can easily become the OKC of the east and, Miami declining, become a serious conference power.

    How in the world is Wiggins' ceiling higher than KD? KD is the best scorer in the world and way taller. The potential higher defense from Wiggins doesn't come close to KD's value.
