I feel like the odds of landing melo should be much better than 6:1, 3:1 feels closer to right to me. I feel like the LeBron odds however should be like 100:1.
For God's sake, how many times does this need to be said: Asik was leaving one way or another. There was *nothing* we could do to keep him here. Morey got a freaking lottery pick for someone who was out the door anyway, so give it a rest.
There is 0% chance he gets traded to Golden State. You are not a"hardcore" fan if you think he will. The Warriors can't take his contact without sending back salary and then it doesn't help the Rockets.
@jlin7 6/29 "He may not always rescue us when we want to get out of circumstances, but He is always with us as we walk through them." - majority of the time when he tweets out a bible verse it's after something went on good or bad that's basketball related
Keep in mind that the odds reflect the people who are taking bets out on them. If the chances for the New York teams seems high, and Houston low, that is simply because the majority of degenerate gamblers live an impoverished existence underneath the bowels of that death machine of a city known as the New York metropolitan area. If more people were taking bets out on Houston, then their odds would slowly go down over time. Remember, odds are meant to keep the flow of money to either side relatively even.
See ya, Jeremy! It's been great having you on the team and even better having your fans on the board. Good luck!
Lol yeah you could be right, but for those who follow Lin he usually always has a meaning behind his bible verses he tweets and they usually come out after a big bounce back game, or after a bad game when he's down It's kinda like docrocket tweets, but easier to figure out because of the timing he does them in
Sam Amick: Any (of the Miami guys) leave? I was writing with the tone that Riley was making all the right moves and Miami was in the front runner seat and I think they are. But the next conversation you have, you get convinced that LeBron is going to survey the landscape. This 'Melo idea is fascinating. Not sure if possible anywhere. I don't know which way it's going but Miami still the front-runner. These guys would like to avoid the West--yes or no? I think so. They're not stupid and I can't blame them for thinking that way. Miami can't manage Wade like that if they were in the West. Not only are you more banged up but so much more prone to luck and circumstance. The Rockets would argue all day long about if we got this break or that break, we'd advance. It's smart, it's wise. Chicago struck out 4 years ago. More likely this year they strike out or land a big free agent? 'Melo is the one if they can get a guy. I'd love to know how he thinks Chicago vs. Houston then it comes down to Rose. LeBron to Chicago? Hard to see him going to a rival and same division with the Cavs. Their target is 'Melo. Houston is doing everything to clear cap space. Danger to doing what they're doing by gutting the roster? How much risk? I'm okay with what they're doing so far. Asik didn't want to be there and you got a first rounder back. The next move would be Lin, which they got lined up but they're being smart. We'll see. If they move Lin, someone got in their ear and said I want to come to town but I think they're playing it right right now.
Shouldn't they move Lin already? I don't understand the waiting game on Lin Clearing cap space is needed to also retain Parson, which is extremely important. They should move him already since they have it in place. Would give me some piece of mind hate the off season

Parsons is a restricted free agent regardless, so the Rockets can match any offer even going over the cap. Until he signs an offer sheet, the Rockets don't have to do anything.
