All I'm saying is that players should be fighting to play in Houston , I just don't see that happening or think it will. Hope I'm wrong

David Aldridge is reporting that Bosh has still not made a decision to opt out (has same agent as Wade and Haslem). Bleacher report also reporting Lebron will still consider leaving if he doesn't see upgrades to the roster. I would post their twitter posts but I'm on my iPad and don't know how.

I think this is false drama. Bosh has 2 yrs, $43 million that could change to 5 yrs, $80 million. This is his last chance.

He will definitely opt out and probably remain with the Heat chasing more rings. Otherwise, his $21 million annual salary will drive LeBron out of town.

Aldridge or his alleged source are feeding us a line of garbage.

The Heat are the worst. I seriously didn't mind them until now. They are trying to buy championships.

You know what's unfair? Having a big three and their salaries combined being about $30 million so organization can add a bunch of very solid role players.

The Spurs are the team we should all be envious of -- not Miami.

Biggest difference is the Spurs actually drafted Duncan Manu Parker Leonard.

In an effort to make a future work together with LeBron James, the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem will opt out of their contracts and become free agents, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

While Bosh, Wade and Haslem could ultimately take less money with the early termination outs in their deals, James, the NBA's four-time MVP, is seeking a full maximum contract extension – or something close to it – to stay with Miami, sources told Yahoo Sports.

James is eligible to sign a five-year, $130 million extension with the Heat.

James' priority remains to find a way to make a future work with Miami, but a failure by the organization toward improving the Heat's roster to his satisfaction could send him aggressively into free agency, sources said.

Bleacher Report first reported the opt-outs.

Chris Broussard was literally just on sportscenter talking about how Bosh hasn't made an official decision. It's all but certain he will but really Broussard? Just going to flip flop reports hourly. How does he still have a job?

Exactly what the Spurs have done is truly amazing with limiting minutes and winning over 60 games consistently in the beastly western conference.

He wants what the market will pay him. 5/75 is what he would get from more than one team.

Like who? I'm not saying no one would but it is interesting to note that Paul Millsap last year was a better player than Bosh... And his market was 2 years, $19 million.

    http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2014/06/28/what-can-the-heat-offer-free-agents/

Not sure the accuracy of the math but looks right. There's really not much the Heat can do to improve meaningfully. Perhaps they don't have to... But they seemed behind a lot of western teams this year. If they can get Lowry it's a solid strong improvement ... Lowry seems like the least likely. Not sure he wants to be option 4 when he was option 1a or 1b in Toronto.

    Ariza? Gortat? C'mon.

Do those players improve the Heat? Sure. Do the Heat still take regular trips to the Finals? Probably. But they're not winning more than half those trips. Sure, Lebron would take 4 more trips and 2 more titles ... But it is important to note that'd be 4-5 in Finals, having almost always walked through a horrible conference, while on a "super-team" himself. It just don't speak legacy to me.

Certainly understand why he'd want to stay in Miami though.
