I don't think it's that no one wants to come here. But Miami is obviously a better destination for all sorts of reasons(including the biggest one of all, winning titles). And I still believe Chicago is a better fit for Melo. The Rockets aren't a team no one wants to play for. But they may wind up being the 2nd or 3rd choice for a lot of the top free agents.
If it means making more money he would, I think. But I don't think Morey wants to give him up. Thing is, if GS is unwilling to give up Klay and HOU is unwilling to give up Parsons, we have the much better secondary assets to make a deal. It isn't even close honestly.
Fair enough. Could you give me one example of a disgruntled superstar being traded to a team he did not agree to he traded to? I can't think of one. Melo choose NY, Dwight OK'd LA, Paul OK'd Clippers and I sure those teams had offers from teams that didn't have the OK from said star - hell I know the Rockets were in the mix for all three with no guarantee. My point is teams - due to fear of bad rep from players/agents - do everything in their power to atleast try and accommodate stars request as long as their offers are reasonable.
Doubt Minny offers him more money that a team like Orlando, Cleveland, Phoenix does, where the upshot with signing for those teams is the great chance that the Rockets match and he stays in Houston.
This doc guy is on shrooms, he could say tweet a pic of his green poo and all of you children would think rondo is coming. Get a grip
He pretty much told is everything with his last 2 tweets Big 3 stay in miami, Lowry joins. Anthony joins bulls Love is up for grabs still. He suggested, that the rockets should focus on upgrade their bench in free agency. He says don't be greed, and patience is key. If your not first your last (with Love). So im guessing thats why he's also suggesting we upgrade our bench, in the case that a Love trade would kill our depth.
look at track record - one playoff win in last 17 years and a coach who hasn't coach a team out the first round. I think our best bet is to keep our young team and go for lowry.
Anyone ever watch the South Park episode where they make fun of "psychic medium" John Edward? And Stan shows how full of **** he is and that his messages can be thought of in many different ways. That's how a Doc quote feels to me. I don't doubt he has inside info. I also enjoy seeing how people perceive different things from his messages. But come on, say something and stick to it. Not something that can be interpreted a million different ways and have everyone think he was right in the end. I think the hatred for Doc is unreasonable but more so the absolute love fest for him is ridiculous.
I can explain, NEWBS in general are insecure and feel a sense of entitlement. GREAT VETS like DOC actually have something to say besides being insecure and make stupid hypothetical situations. I think it's a problem with society in general. When the Rap Music gets worse, so does society. Back in the day, the Rap music was better. Doc has a message to say to Rockets fans like Tupac, Run DMC, and Public Enemy did to society. Newbs are like Drake, who sing about Sprite or how he stole Rihanna from Chris Brown, he has nothing to say to society, on top of that Tupac would have destroyed this guy.
Boooya! We are pieces away from a ring. We do not need to be taking steps back to make steps forward at this point. Resign Parsons to what he truly is worth. We do not need to aim for another star but replace the role players that just did not fit anymore with our plans such as Jlin and Omer Asik. We are extremely close. Durant is also available next year or maybe this depending how OKC does and what tradable assets we acquire.
If you are wrong about even one of these details, you're an idiot. ....but imma reserve my judgement for later Eminem and Wyclef still talk to society.
