I admit to being a bit lost on this, but how would he get to the Heat and the Heat still keep James Bosh Wade?

 

This has already been denied by the Raptors GM.

 

bosh has to voluntarily opt out first.

but it's ok for the spurs big 3 to average $10M/yr? Duncan could be making max money right now but is taking huge cuts to get quality players around him, just like the heat would do in this situation (even though I hate this move and the heat in general).

Seriously, where do you even start with this? It's impenetrably stupid.

 

I think the difference is that the spurs drafted all 3 players - heck the 4 players on the Spurs that people consider their big 3 or 4 -- whereas the heat only drafted Wade and the rest of the players sort of came together because they were all buddies.

Parker, Duncan, Ginobili, Leonard are so different from each other in personality (heck none of them are from the same country - duncan technically) that the only way they probably would have became friends is if they were all on the same team.


Also because of the loop hole of players being able to talk to and recruit other players - the Heat (and later the Rockets) used this to their advantage big time with Wade. Heck you knew something was up when LeBron just out of the blue said he would stop wearing 23 the next season at the beg of his last year in cleveland.

There would be no real reason to do that unless he went to a team that already had #23 retired - which the heat did because of Jordan (again a REAL stupid reason to retire Jordan's jersey for a team he always beat) - and then LeBron saying it was because he feels no one should wear jordan's number (same thing the Heat said)


there were all sorts of loophole tampering done by the players themselves to get those 3 on a team - thats why people are left with a bitter taste in their months when it comes to that Miami team.

 

Bucher is such an ass head. Totally unrelated to this report though, I actually wouldn't be surprised if this happens.

 

What can MIA pay Lowry if they keep the big 3 (or turn Bosh into Melo)?

Also their problem is their hole in the middle. They still need a good 5. Letting go of Bosh will compound their problems.

 

What's the first year salary for a 9-10M/yr contract over 3 or 4 years that's structured with 4.5% raises?
