This is simple, The Nets gave it their best shot, having come out in the first half with a lot of intensity. There was no signs of rust. The front court line up (Duncan, Robinson, Rose) of the Spurs is simply too much for the Nets. Duncan only had one good half and the supporting cast didn't play all that well in the first game. Spurs will dominate the second game. Predicting a point spread is always difficult but if I had to guess: Spurs win by 15-20 points
Especially if David play like he did the other night, it will be lights out again. I fully expect Deke to play alot more the next game.
More lopsided than game 1. Not necessarily indicitive of the final score, however. In the end Spurs by 11.
No, it really isn't. It's surprising that these people think the Nets are this bad though. I still stick by Spurs in 6, but you guys really have to give the Nets more credit, just because the rest of the East sucks, it doesn't mean they suck.
It may appear not so as the Nets got outscored in the fourth Q, but the Spurs never had a lead the 4th Q either. The Nets also outscored the Spurs for each of the first three quarters. BTW, the next three games will be in NJ.
spurs did an absolutely horrible job on offense. turned it over on simple pick and roll passes. i've never seen a game with more pathetic turnovers.
-Don't even tell me you are surprised. The next clutch FT he hits will be his first. Karl Malonesque. -Spurs in 6.
