A sign and trade for Anthony, Dalembert and Prigioni would be great.

    Beverley/Prigioni/Canaan
    Harden/Daniels
    Parsons/
    Anthony/
    Howard/Dalembert

Plus we'd have our MLE and BAE

This trade can help the rockets to do a S&T for Carmelo
Asik + Lin + fillers for melo

Ny get his future center and the fillers (anyway they are loosing Anthony)

What are the Mavs going to do with Dirk, Gasol, and Tyson Chandler? That's a ton of money wrapped in an ancient front-court. There has to be something else to this. I do agree though that this signifies that the Knicks are not going to take Carmelo at $20m+ over the next 4-5 years. Is this move enough to get them out of tax bracket hell, or is there something else that needs to fall in place?

We could give them back those 2nd round picks Morey has in his pocket. Pretty sure we still have them. ;-)-

@WojYahooNBA: In proposed deal, Dallas would send the Knicks its 2014 second round picks: Nos. 34 and 51, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Dally's $3.8mill is not guaranteed; Knicks can cut him if they wish.

Tyson Chandler is fantastic, but it really stinks that the Mavs had to give up Calderon.

Regardless, any team that ends up with Raymond Felton is the automatic loser

this is a headscratcher for the mavs. makes no sense.

chandler is awesome, but he's old and they are giving up a lot.

though in the end these are all somewhat inconsequential players.

Also, those early 2nd rounders definitely have value. There was a report earlier this summer that NYK had a trade lined up to get into the 2nd round

I guess if they're really committed moving on from Melo than this deal isnt awful. They did get 2 2nd rounders in a good draft.

Maybe they try to dump JR in any Melo SnT.

This is a great deal for the Knicks if it shaves off money for next year. Not only could they get melo, they could add another significant piece while getting Calderon, who i think is an amazing three point guy, and Shane Larkin.

Mark Cuban is obsessed with Chandler. Thinks he's the missing piece to a championship contender. LOL

If Phil gets 34, 51, larkin, ellington, calderon, and the bear (who can be waived), for an overpaid, overweight Felton snd a washed up, often injured Chandler, he is executive of the year, regardless of what Morey does.

    So
Dallas dump the terrible long Calderon Contract
that cost hin 20 million the next seaso, 2nd rounds and Larkin

After winning the champ, Dallas could have resign Chandler, but they prefer made space to sign Calderon to bring Chandler back. Wow:rolleyes:

Why the hell would Melo stick around for an extra year of garbage basketball?

Seriously. Cuban went insane when Tyson signed in NY. As if he lost Michael Jordan or something.
