You have inserted Parsons in the starting line up, after trading him. The trade is a good idea. I feel DM will need to include 1st round picks as well, in order to get it done.

Good ideas. I feel a future 1st round pick plus Asik for Millsap might be workable. The other plan sounds perfect.

This WHAT GOING TO HAPPEN Carmelo Anthony is going to the Bulls. Love is going to GS. Lebron is going to stay with the Heat. Houston Rockets going to pick a no name player in the Draft that may get cut or D- League. and we keep LIN/ Parsons/ Asik. and not pass the first round in the playoff. I want to Houston Rockets to win but the NBA HATE HOUSTON. due to we win 2 NBA championship WITH NO M.J. on the bulls..

If Houston manages to recruit Lowry, then..

    Lowry (S&T) +Fields for Lin+25th pick (whoever HOU selects)+Motiejunas

Maybe add other assets or substitute Jones for Motiejunas if Toronto needs more incentives.

People talked about Lin and Asik's balloon payment contracts, but theirs are not the only ones-- Landry Fields has a cap hit of $6.25M but is owed $8.5M next season.

This deal allows HOU to pay Lowry a starting salary of more than $9.6M, or an average of more than $10M on a 4 year deal. Lowry may not actually leave or want to come to Houston, but if Lowry is out the door anyway (with a threat to sign somewhere outright, including with HOU through the salary dumping, cap room route), this would seem to be a good deal for Toronto.

They keep plenty of cap flexibility both this season and next and the cost of Lin's ballon payment is largely offset by taking away Fields' balloon payment. They get some young talent/future assets and get to see of Lin fits in their future.

    If Melo/Lebron/Bosh don't work out:

    Dump Lin.
    Sign Deng.
    Re-sign Parsons.
    Sign Shaun Livingston with MLE
Sign Okafor with BAE or 1 year vet min with player option

Later in the season trade Asik/Parsons for Milsap/Korver.

    Rockets:
    Beverley/Livingston/Canaan
    Harden/Daniels
    Deng/Korver
    Milsap/Jones
    Howard/Okafor/D-Mo

    Hawks:
    Teague/Schroeder
    Williams
    Parsons/Carroll
    Horford
    Asik/Antic

    Howard, DMo & Parsons
    ...for....
    76'ers for 3, 10 & 32 plus Young and MCW

It puts Howard in the East and gives the 76'ers threir super star

ONLY if Asik is resigned 4/5 year deal (9.5 to 10 per year)
We have a young team and Howard's the one that dosen't match

    With the picks take BPA
But with our pick Mitch McGray

We will be better than the Thunder & Spurs will retire when we reach stride (2/3 years).

They most likely wouldn't but their new owners are NY hedge fund guys. Maybe the memory of Linsanity is still on their minds? Anyhow I think that trade guarantees them a playoff berth in the EC.

Plan A: Try get Melo or Bron to commit verbally to us if we clear cap space.
-Trade everyone except Bev, Harden, Parsons, Jones, Howard, and Daniels to sign either of those two

Plan B: Trade Lin for Ilyasova.
-Trade 1st rd pick for Shumpert
    -Trade Asik for future 1st
-Sign Deng and Patty Mills/Lowry and backup center

Pg - Lowry or Mills, Bev
    SG - Harden, Shumpert, Daniels
    SF - Parsons, Deng
    PF - Ilyasova, Jones
    C - Howard, Okafor, Monte

    Thats a pretty deep lineup...

Mills will command less and doesn't have prior beef w/ McHale. We could also try and get Antetokounmpo, maybe we trade Lin and Monte.

Your future-telling is as bad as your knowledge of the past making you look like a damn fool presently.

Not sure I'm 100% on this, but it may happen if we're not feeling Melo or Lebron are options:

    Trade Asik/Lin/#25 2014 pick/Llull for Rondo/Green/Joel Anthony
    Sign Okafor

    Rondo/Beverley
    Harden/Daniels
    Parsons/Green/Covington
    Jones/Green/D-Mo
    Howard/Okafor/D-Mo

boston won't make that trade. no way we get rondo/love without giving up parsons included in any deal.
