No, because you appear to be incapable of arguing on the merits of a specific case without taking personal shots. We've been through this same song and dance about a thousand times now. There's a good debate going with valid points on both sides, and then out of the blue, you throw out a broad insult (in this case, the homer comment). Instead of making the argument about your points -- all of which are valid -- you're instead making it a referendum about me. That, to me, is trolling in the context of a BBS discussion thread.

Anyway, it sounds like we're arguing apples and oranges, here. I certainly agree that there's a way for LeBron to win titles in Miami. My initial response was merely to point out that Houston has a very easy way to respond to the "you'll automatically get to the Finals on an East team" argument. LeBron and Carmelo's decisions are going to take more than conference affiliation into account.

That only works when they aren't doubling Dwight on the cut. The Blazers had single coverage as long as the spacing was good. When Harden (or anyone else) got close, they doubled. It was better to space the floor in that situation. Y'all are acting like Harden quit on the team or something. On the road he and Dwight put is in position to win each and every game.

You're being a little too literal.

If you'd actually watched the series against Portland, there was a whole lot more to Harden than him "not shooting well".

To be fair, McHale plays him a lot minutes....then complains (without naming names) when the "ball gets sticky". The dude might have been pretty gassed.

But he looked like he was loafing it. Dwight upped his game. Harden did not do the same.

The worst part is that we can't rely on a barber's tweet to leak whether or not LeBron signed with Houston. Maybe we can look for custom headband makers' twitter accounts?

We may have argued a lot, but I don't think I've ever thrown an "insult" your way except homer, which is context for the argument. If you can find another personal shot I've made against you, please show me so I can apologize for it as I try hard not to take personal shots and generally ignore posts who decide to blast insults instead of argument.

Actually I've argued my points quite thoroughly and mentioned you being a homer as one small portion of the argument. It hardly became a referendum about you when that was the throw away line in the post.

But like I said, if you think me a troll, put me on ignore. Either way, that you think I'm a troll tells me that I have somehow wronged you so I apologize. I'll engage in no further debate with you.

"Opting in" just seems kind of rediculous to me. It's a legitimate option for someone on a contract that they can't get in free agency (i.e. Rudy Gay or Dywane Wade), but not for someone like LeBron. He'd be risking potentially $40 to $70 million (a new 4 to 5 year contract at the max minus his two player option years), all for just the opportunity to take another look at free agency in 2015. Perhaps he's fine with that......I wouldn't be.

Either all 3 opt out or LeBron is gone (likely to Houston). Nothing else makes sense.

They could opt out to sign new deals but I agree that Lebron "opting in" for 1 more year doesn't make a lot of sense. It's weird to see that option pushed as sort of the chalk pick.

Don't you have a dog to kick or an Astros team owner to irrationally rip?

On a side note, I assure you, your opinion on this matter got the consideration it deserves...
