Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Wilt Chamberlain Hakeem Olajuwon (not counting his bout of phlebitis). I don't remember Moses Malone being injured until very late in his career.
Its a best case scenario, I was talking about how guys who seemed invincible going into the league ended up being injured, even someone like Bogut who had no health issues and wasn't an athletic freak ended up being injury prone. If supermen like these guys ended up having health issues later on what're the chances of embiid having a long and healthy career, considering he already dealing with various issues before he even gets drafted? Anyway people will always gamble on talent but in a draft this deep why take a large risk when other healthy picks were available with potential as well?
still get shivers when i hear 'navicular'. dat PTSD from Yao. poor kid. he won't slide that far but its a massive blow this young

I'll be surprised if he slips past the top 5. If I were to guess he would be drafted #4 at worst after wiggins, parker, exum.
He won't get past both Celtics and Lakers. One of those teams will roll the dice. I don't understand why teams still think centers are worthy of being the #1 overall pick in the league still. Cleveland is lucky Embiid got injured as Parker will probably be a good NBA player. The way the modern game is played these days, centers just clog the lane on offense unless they can hit a 15-20 footer or something.
