Beverly/Cannon
Harden/Daniels
Parsons/Marion/Convington
Melo/Jones/Emo
Howard/Okafor

There's 3 teams chasing the same star, the Rockets are one of them, and to Morey "If your not first your last" - meaning possibly, if he doesn't win the (boxing match) star player over, he will have failed.


Just my first view of it, I really have no idea.

 

I was pretty lost because I never really watched Talladega Nights, but that quote does make sense!

 

...Maybe...if we're not the 'first' team to ring Melo's doorbell at 12:01 AM July 1st, we'll be 'last' place in the sweepstakes??

As they should. Don't have enough for Love and Melo is much more likely.

 

Thank god for the internet and Twitter. Imagine going back to the old days where you had to wait to hear sports rumors from newspapers alone

I imagine there would be less stress because we wouldn't be getting multiple rumors/updates throughout the day haha. Sometimes I hate how addicted I am to twitter/clutchfans because I catch myself refreshing pages frequently.


If I lived before the internet, I imagine I'd just ponder about it when I read my newspaper in the morning and then probably forget about it for the majority of the day until I get the paper the next morning lol.

 

I kind of see it as possible 3 "star players" as oppose to 3 teams

I just watched the entire video. Man, Dream is still so fluent in the moves

 

Finally, someone with some common sense.

 

I think its kind of crazy how people fail to realize what an amazing off the ball player Carmelo can be/has been when surrounded by talent (see team USA, Allstar games, towards end of Nuggets run). The guy doesn't NEED the ball in his hands to be effective. And lets not forget about his strength down low, very underrated rebounder with his boxing out.
