    When do you flush the toilet?

    I hate it when someone takes a monster dump and uses copious amounts of TP and then is afraid to flush.

    Courtesy flush should be right between the end of the poo and the beginning of the recovery time. That is your optimum flush time.

    If the water is clear, then I just flush afterwards. Otherwise, I'll flush before and after. I don't think I've ever "courtesy flushed."

    The courtesy flush is used while in the act of dumping. It's purpose is two fold. No.1: To cover up the sound of blowing it up. No.2: The quicker the flush the less it will smell. Several courtesy flushes may be required.

    The courtesy flush should be a mandatory move in a public bathroom. :cool:

    I never flush a f*ckin' public toilet. The nastiest place to ever be is in a public restroom.

    BTW, I flush before, during and after when dropping the kids off at the pool and just before and after when "freeing Willie".

    I second the hell out of that.

    I've got it down to a science actually. There is a whole vacant floor that my data center is located on and I have the bathroom basically all to myself. I go in, get three paper towels. Wet two of them for the "cleanup" and damp the third for the toilet seat wipe-down. I'm gonna really hate it when people start moving into this floor!
