    The Rockets should trade:
    Mobley
    The Bulls should trade:
    Fizer
Because the Bulls are stocked at that position and Fizer would subplant Griffin as a PF and do a damn good job

Chicago would laugh at us. We're offering bascally Mobley becuase Nachbar has absolutely no value outside of this board. And in exchange we get J Will AND a Lottery pick? Get real.

They would like to unload Robinson and his 6mil per yr with that #7 . Would that #7 and Robinson for Mobley and Nachbar be enough?Resign Posey andgo to war with Francis,Posey,Robinson,Griffin and Ming. That #7 pick could also put you in position to take a young, gifted player in case Griffin doesn't pan out. Nothing else, it can be used for good quality depth or another project. Kind of interesting, but............

    ARE YOU GUYS CRAZY!!!!

I'd take Jay Williams for anybody except Steve and Yao (Maybe Steve but it'd better be damn good).

This is the same guy who got player of the year twice. This guy can do it all, he can run the text book offense, decent defender, good head on his shoulders, potential up the wazhoo! His athleticism is very close to Steve's except his hops isn't as high. He can drive, he can dish, he can shoot (except for the free throws) and he can play decent offense.

Jay Williams, with the right team, will have the talent or ability to output at the level of Baron Davis or our very own Stevie Franchise.

The reason he's doing so bad is because of Cartwright. I don't know how the likes of Silas and Carlisle can be fire yet Cartwright remains in Chicago...simply amazing.

Come on man, give him some time. Rudy is the same guy who would take out Yao when hes getting warmed up. Even Yao had to prove himself (scoring 20 pts at LA and scoring 32 points 16 rebs before he could get more than 15 min's per game)

Are you crazy? Jay Williams got outplayed by Jamal Crawford. If anyone should've had problems it should have been Jamal Crawford not Jay Williams. I'd take Jamal Crawford over Jay Williams anyday.

Player of the year twice in College. It doesn't mean anything now. The guy is a point guard who is supposed to be a decent shooter, but can't even hit free throws.

He still could be become a hell of a player, but so far it doesn't look good. The triangle may hold him back a bit, but that doesn't explain why Jamal Crawford has outplayed him and why he can't hit free throws.

Uh, he was a rookie. You just don't give up on someone who was player of the year in college after one rookie season. I would trade for him in a heartbeat. I'd give them every single one of our small forwards for Jay Williams. In fact, I'd give him a few years to develop too. You have a guy who dominated 4 years worth of future NBA players and you want to give up on him because he had one bad year as a rookie. Please. Tha kid is going to grow up and be a force.

 So after one year, your ready to "officially" label him a bust. The majority of NBA players take time to find their game and hone their skills. Give the guy a few more years before you label him a bust

    Interesting idea.

The one thing that gives me pause; Best case scenario -> Williams is a Francis clone.

Granted (assuming Williams fulfills his potential and improves & Mobley's involved from the Rocks' end), a Francis\Williams backcourt is an upgrade over a Francis\Mobley backcourt, but is this backcourt in the team's best interest? I thought the whole point of trying Francis at the 2 was to balance out the offense, and make it not so perimeter-oriented. How does Francis & "Francis II" accomplish this?

When it's all said & done, however, I'd probably roll the dice on this trade. Even if "Double Francis" doesn't work out, you could always move one or both.

    Mobley\Griffin\re-signed Posey\relief from Drew obligation

    for

    Williams\Fizer\#7

I agree that this could be an interesting idea. Williams clearly has talent, and would be more likely to pass the rock than Mobes. One thing to remember is that if we start to run a true low post offense then the need for a true PG is lessened. Two guards in the back that can score and pass could be interesting. Imagine dumping it in to Yao and having SF and JW to kick it out to.

Our guards need to be shooters and Mobley is far better than JWil.

Right now Mobley is a better shooter then Williams, but Williams is a better passer and penetrator, something very useful with Yao in the middle.

And Williams shooting will very likely improve, like most other PG who initially struggle.

Jalen is just as selfish as Mobley, but a better passer. And with his height, he'll be able to feed Yao very easily.

I like the idea of obtaining Brian Grant, despite his grotesque contract.

I'd definitely keep an eye on Miami for trade scenarios. Miami needs depth and cap spcae. I believe the Heat will sign Olowakandi with its cap space this year (Kandi just bought a house in Miami).

Rice (lives in Miami, expiring contract) and EG for Grant and #5 would be fair, wouldn't it?

I don't think Chicago has anyone we want (Jamal Crawford, maybe; Jalen Rose? I don't know....bit of an angry young man).
