    That's your hope, not Pop's. I don't think Pop cared about anyone but Heat. He's not super serious about OKC either ( surrendering the two away games that easily)

    Last season. We have no problems with the Spurs.

    The Spurs only made the finals because Ibaka was banged up. And you are only freaking out that they are unbeatable because the East sux so bad.

    Dallas took em to 7.

    I guess you forgot that there are layups scored in every game against the Rockets. Your point?

    If you cannot see how Dwight scares people away from the paint, you need to look again.

    To answer the thread's title: play the spurs during the regular season. That's how we'll beat them.

    Yeah I guess the Rockets owned them in regular season but how many games was one or the other star missing and the rotation was not in full strength?

    The Rockets beat them in 4 games yet they still own the league's best record?

    It shows they are beatable for sure but when they are at their best it is still very tough.
    They played their best against OKC and Heat IMHO.

    The spurs are greaT, but could be beat in the right circumstance for the Rockets. I even think if the Rockets got to face them in the second round, they would've beat them. Too bad they couldn't get past the Portland. Its all about coaching and managing the playerz mind set and starts up top.

    I don't care what each roster looks like, if its a best of 7 McHale vs Pop chess match, McHale just will never win. The guy has to be in the top 10 for stupidest coaches in nba history, it would be a joke.

    I guess that is why the Rockets are looking to add a veteran coach like Hollins to come in and help the team out.

    If McFail couldn't coach the Rockets to a win over the Blazers, they weren't gonna beat the Spurs.

    Let them play against Memphis and the a Spurs will get owned by Marc Gasol and Randolph in a 7 game series.
