Washington and Seattle met in the finals in back to back years in '78 and '79 and produced these two Finals MVP performances. From a purely statistical point of view these are two of the worst ever: 1978 -- Wes Unseld, Washington Averaged 9.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists in the Bullets’ 4-3 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics. 1979 -- Dennis Johnson, Seattle Averaged 9.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.9 steals per game in the Sonics’ 4-1 victory over the Washington Bullets. Both were obviously extremely good players but their finals stat line wasn't exactly eye popping.
Worst? Did you watch the finals? Heck, I'd rather give it to some role players who are really instrumental in their win than some well-known stars who can't get past the 1st round.
For people who think Kawhi can only be a role player, remember that Popovich said 2 years ago that Kawhi is a future Allstar. Popovich knows better than you people. Would Pop trade Kawhi for Harden?
That poll is so close it's really alarming. Speaks incredibly low of the intelligence of the members of clutchfans! Kawhi is a great player! But Unfortunately for him, because of this series he's gonna be overrated for the rest of his career! He's an elite defender with potential on offense. He's not a star though!
Somebody needs to give Carl some help and ban him until next season so he can reassess his life. Dude just has none at this point and is just bitter. That's probably why he keeps trying to do his weak trolling. Maybe he can find something else worthwhile to do than hangout at the cfans forums and be so lame.
Why is he allowed to start threads? Congrats though, youre the first person to ever make my ignore list.
hard to tell how good he kawhi is outside of that system. defensively and rebounding will be there, spot up shooting will, but the rest of his offense is limited if he were to play in our system.
Kawhi is the one of the best small forwards out of California in a long time(Paul George the Other). I give Kawhi the edge over James because he buys into the team concept and does what ever it takes to win (including defense). James has yet to show he can do that consistently. Don't get me wrong part of that is coaching, and we all know that Pop telling you to buy in vs Mchale telling you to buy in it two different animals.
Kawhi Leonard is quickly becoming the most overrated player in the NBA. Lets see him as the primary option for a season and see what he can do.
Typical fake a** Carl Herrera, hating like usual. Let me guess, you're dogging on the Rockets stars again? These LOF's are crazy.
Typical. Some Harden fans react with grunts and poop flinging whenever they perceive that their hero is slighted. Even asking a question evokes these reactions.
