Whatever, Dream and Moses had all year to step up and help Yao and they didn't. Atleast Patrick is saying he wants to do it and even says it in a way that it would be possible. Hopefully he is just not blowing smoke. Say what you want to about Patrick, but he was a great Center. He never won it all, but he was a great Center until injuries and age slowed his game down to a crawl.

Moses said: "I'm here. I'm ready. I'm willing."

Correct me if I am wrong but I saw posts here talking about a caller asking Rudy on radio about this and he said to these effects:

    1) They already have a staff for the job.
    2) If Moses wants the job, apply thru the normal channel.

    Let's get Thompson. :D

BTW, why do people keep assuming that if you are a better player, you must be a better coach?

You are right, they are different species, are they not? :)

Coaches and players are entirely different animals!!! :)

Look, Olajuwon has distanced himself from the organization and hasn't volunteered his services.

If Moses steps up to help Yao, great. But if not, hell yes, bring in Patrick Ewing. The guy was a stud prior to his wrist injury and 55th birthday.

And what's wrong with that? Just fill out an application and go through the interview formalities like everybody else. You can't just expect Moses to show up at the gym one day and be given a bag of money in exchange for his services.

    Nothing wrong with number 2)
    You forgot number 1)

Looking at it from another angle.
    3) Did anyone call Moses up to talk, to explore, to make an offer?
    4) Why did Moses not follow thru? You have to wonder, maybe he didn't care? maybe he wasn't welcomed?

    I don't know. I don't have answers. I only have questions. :)

If the other big guys wont come to help, or Les wont sign them, then Hell if we can get Ewing to help coach/teach, then we should accept it. I am more than happy to get Ewing. Ewing is better than no-one.
