Supreme Court Rules that Cops DO NOT Need a Warrant to Search Your Home

    Here is the case it stemmed from.

    Summary: Man commits robbery and runs from police to his home. Police arrive at the apartment and hear shouting inside. Suspect refuses entry into the home. They arrest him for the crime and leave the scene. An hour later they return to the scene and the girlfriend lets them search the apartment.
