It amazes me as well. This country was built on questioning the actions of the federal government. It's been going on for the entire history of this country, because we have the freedom of speech to do so. Now the Republican majority wants to quell any and all free speech that questions the actions and policies of the Bush Administration. To me, that's about as Un-American as you can get.

Whenever anything which supports the anti-war argument is posted you respond by saying you are weary of the whole thing, that there is no point, that you won't even debate the issue, that's it's a moot point, etc. You come off all tired of the whole thing, and won't even bother to argue the points like no WMD finds, etc. on that basis...and that's fine, I sympathize, and it's certainly your right. I totally see what you mean....I'm just not as tired today. Plus I'm waiting on a phone conference that starts soon, and I don't want to dive into anything else before then. But also understand, this argument here is not about whether or not WMD existed...it's about whether or not we were lied to...and what it would mean if we were...and who else "lied" to us on the very same issue...namely, the clinton administration...the weapons inspectors...and bipartisan commissions in congress.

really??? that's so morbid. i agree that there are conservatives out there who love to slam clinton...but i was genuinely upset during the whole impeachment process. seemed so dirty..so disgraceful. i voted for clinton the first time, and it confirmed to me everything that those who voted against him warned me about regarding his character. i thought that was awful. i really don't like hillary...but bill...i don't hate bill. i feel sorry for him in a lot of ways...he's sort of a tragically flawed shakespearean character. i do, however, enjoy bashing the cowboys, the jazz and the cardinals. that's just good clean fun.
