Okay!!! Okay!!! Listen he is the man for the job and here is why?

    1. He believes he is the right guy. (Just ask him! )

    2. He is smart. (Just ask him!)

    3. He is outspoken and put players in their place.

    4. He is a two time champion.

    5. He could teach Yao Ming to be the MAN!!!

Bill Walton - "Throw it down big man, Throw it down"

Walton is too melodramatic to be a coach.

Imagine Walton as coach during a time out in a huddle with seconds left and it's Rockets ball during a preseason game:

Walton - "the fate and the pinnacle of western civilization rest upon this one shot. Who will take it?"

Ha, ha, ha. Walton is hilarious and seems like a good guy, but nothing about him leads me to believe he'd be a good coach.

    Van Gundy or Carlisle please...

    LOL-

Priceless stuff, x_trepidation_x. I like Walton and I think he might be a very good coach in the right setting, such as on a team with more veteran players. However, the Rockets need a more stern, disciplined coach right now.

Close this thread out....this is pathetic!

The only two candidates for this job are VG and Dunleavy. That's it.

I guess our next coach will be a TV commentator and in that respect Walton is qualified..But why hasnt anyone mentioned John Thompson, he actually has done work with big men and is good at it.

    Quick, who said this...

"I didn't feel my focus was at its best. I didn't want to hurt our team. I certainly don't regret the effort I put forth. I just think it's time to step back and let the team move on."

This is the same man the Larry Bird had benched during the NBA finals because he was too old and too slow to play. He may make a good big man coach(if that). He hurls insult after insult and doesn't offer a solution to much of what he complains about.
