I've had cramps during bball games many a times since high school. Most likely due to not stretching beforw games. I was Labroning before it was cool.
Ok Lebron, this is becoming a pattern. Next playoffs have some bananas and carbonated drink or something on hand. I,m tired of all the drama.
Anyone that's ever had agonizingly "just shoot me in the head" leg cramps would not be making fun of Lebron. I'm talking unrelenting cramps that will not release their grip on your quads or hamstrings to the pt u cry. (Almost). You can't walk. When you finally get relief, they start teasing you, with the slightest movement they start mini-cramping and twitching and sometimes revert back to full vice-grip cramping Sports related - after 4th day of pick up ball for 5 hrs a day in the summer or sitting in the same position all day in the summer in a yak without any Gatorade and without getting out and walking on a reef.
If he wasn't carrying his team, if they didn't completely collapse as soon as his left the floor, if he wasn't doing more physical work than anyone else on either team, if the AC had been working....then all of this would be fair. As it stands I think the reaction by people has been very harsh. Even if he could have played through it, unless he is dominating the play for the heat they are a lost cause anyway. I hope he comes out in the next game and has a historic performance. Even though I've been going against the heat.
Jeez so you never actually had a debilitating cramp before then. A small one on the foot, that's fine, it'll get better in 5 min, but a calf or thigh cramp? LeBron already had a cramp before the last one, and he even asked to go back into the game after his whole left leg cramped up. Seriously, Lebron deserves criticism for other things, like the Decision, but this? No way.
He's just saying that because for him cramps means carpal tunnel. He can just "man down (shouldn't that be man up?)," when he gets a keyboard injury. As opposed to a pro-athlete who is carrying his team on a championship run that actually has to physically perform. "I gotta man down, even though this carpal tunnel's killing me, I can't let my Call of Duty teammates down. It's a matter of life and death! I'd better get some chips to help."
Y'all guys need to chill, and stop using that 'quit on the team' term every chance you get Most used word since Scottie Quitten
Lebroning could be a lot more interesting!..... ............ Bill Russell has eleven!!... ....... ....... .......
