I just read that the Bull are shoping Jay Williams and the 7th pick for a SF. I read it on Cbs.sportsline.com. How about Mobley, Nachbar, 2-1st round picka, and give them back the 2-2nd rounders they owe us for Williams and Fizer. Line up Ming/Cato Fizer/Griffin/Taylor Posey/Rice Francis/FA Williams/Norris With the 7th pick draft a SG/SF combo
Trade Rejected!!! Jay Will does suck, but I do like the 7th pick. Mobley for the 7th pick? We could draft Dwayne Wade, Francis and Wade Backcourt would be AMAZING.
Please be more clear! Well I think they are interested in Posey. Tell me what kind of trade scenario you can come up with between the Bulls and Rockets involving Posey and maybe the #7 pick.
dwayne wade would be sweet. ford could fall to 7th also. send mo taylor and cuttino to miami for brian grant and the #5 pick. miami duz have the 5th pick>> right?
I think Miami would take Rice, a contract they can have the books next year and Eddie Griffin a talent in exchange for Brian Grant and a cap filler. I think he would be awesome for this team.
I know, but after a poor rookie season, he can now 'officially' be labeled a bust. He had his moments though, leading rookies in assists, had a triple double in a victory against Jason Kidd, and played better the last month of the season.
Some of the trades people come up with, make me think some of you are on DRUGS ! Have you heard of 12 steps! Just say no to DRUGS!
I don't think Jay Will's a bad player, although he certainly didn't come anywhere close to meeting the expectations of him this year. I wouldn't be surprised if he improves to the point that people talk about trading for him. However, the impression I get is that he's more of a SG in a PG's body and that his strengths duplicate Steve's. Bottom line is that he doesn't answer any of our needs. Too bad they're not shopping around the other PG.
Are you crazy? I would hesitate to trade Mobley/Nachbar for J. Williams/7th pick, not to mention the picks you wanted to throws in.
Why do we need jay williams? He hasn't proven his critics wrong and has even shown his strengths. Coming into the draft he was suppose to be an excellent scorer but people questioned his ability to play the point and run an offense. The critics were right because he didn't seem to be very good at running an offense. However, on top of not being able to run the offense he wasn't even an effective shooter? What did he shoot last year? I think it was at most 40%, but I could be wrong. By adding him, we'd be adding another point guard that's about 6-2, 6-3 that's athletic but is more of a scorer then a point guard.
Crawford isn't a proven commodity either, though he came on strong at the end of the season. If the Bulls somehow would trade Curry or Chandler to play alongside Yao, that'd be more helpful unless Francis is going to move to SG.
