It is sad to see this thread again but also a reminder that though most of us have never met in person this is a community and we matter. Unfortunately during holiday times often suicides will spike because so many feel alone and isolated when we are inundated with images of idealized family. I can understand feeling alone and in pain and have been through times like that myself. Especially in this time we should remember that our lives matter to a lot of people in a lot of ways. Even if that way is only talking basketball, politics, big ass gorditas or even big asses with other people online.
LTTP, didn't see this thread three years ago. I remember his moniker, RIP. Just curious, why has there never been a annual CF meet? I've been to one at a Rockets game a long time ago when we all chipped in for a suite.
As much as some of us claim the D&D is a cesspool, there are some heavy conversations that take place there (ideally). It represents both the best and worst of the internet at times, and I'm deeply saddened to be reminded of how one person's search for truth can turn so wrong in the life he forged before. RIP Landlord. Your memory still flickers.
