Odds are we won't hear a lot about them until they are caught again or killed. The administration probably doesn't want a lot getting out about the 5 terrorists we freed in order to get the traitor back.

 

The extreme, delusional of the right will find any reason to criticize Obama. Even if the man was the second coming of the Lord, they would have something to complain about.

The "traditional, tired" type of conservative is dying off. People are becoming more moderate. It's just this last category of people that are holding on to anything that is anti-progressive.

 

I'm sorry, but this sounds like pure bull. A sister unit at a regimental level is rather detached from Bergdahl's unit. Regiments are huge and I doubt a random soldier in an entirely different regiment would have the ins on his regigemnt being misalocated for the search of Bergdahl. Maybe the Army works entirely different than the Marine Corps but Marines from different regiments barley interact with each other and regiments barley overlap their area of operation. So far all I hear is hearsay. I haven't done much research into this but has anyone in his platoon or company mentioned if he was a deserter?

Nvm... Looked more into it. His platoon mates are claiming he did desert and he even wrote an email before his disappearance about how he resented his service and the U.S... Ouch. Defenitly makes me reconsider the decision made by the President.

 

It would be really nice if a few of you a-holes would stop jumping to conclusions and let the debriefing process happen. Its bad enough Berg spent 5 years away from his life.....stop looking for a reason to piss on a good thing. If we find out he deserted.....fine. Until then.....slow the BS people. Yeah well I'm a pretty big Obama supporter in most respects. But if he in fact was a deserter it's was very stupid decision.

 

You really think Berg deserted and we gave up 5 from Gitmo just to secure his release? I could be wrong but I could have sworn we have drones for people like that. I highly doubt Obama or anyone involved in this process would agree to terms under the conditions of him being a traitor.

I think what we should all do it shut the F up.....be happy one of ours is home....and let the details and truth come out as it will.
