Midnight Home Invasion: Who will Morey visit on July 1st?

I don't see Gasol working with Howard. He's a great passer and in theory it could work... but theres been too much drama between the two (True/False).

 

I mean.. IF we get Melo... sure... go get Gasol.

But otherwise I'll pass.

Gasol has said that he would be willing to accept a lot less salary to play for a title. You could make the case Houston could be a destination with the MLE. I am sure the thought of playing with his brother Marc, in Memphis is appealing.

 

So, let's just add Carmelo in a S&T and then Gasol with the MLE and call it a day.

 

If I remember correctly, Dwight had issues with Kobe and Pringles. In fact, I think Kobe was in and out in second half of the season they started playing better because the Lakers went inside to the Pau/Dwight combo. Again, IIRC, this is why they passed us up for the 7th spot in the playoffs that year.

I think Pau is perfect next to Dwight. They can play together because he’s a great passer and has a decent jumper to spread the floor. He played with one of the most ball-dominant guards in NBA history so he’s should be able to play off of Harden as well. He can also be the back-up 5 when Dwight is out.

 

apologize for what? shipping him off for fighting with the Rockets? That was pretty justified, and even Kyle will tell you he needed to mature and grow to get to where he is now. If we kept him, it wouldn't have been the same.

 

Morey has had a fascination with Pau for many years and strangely enough Howard likes playing with Pau.

Morey's "all out" target should either be Melo or Lowry, as he has an infinitely better chance of signing one of those two than Dirk or any of the Miami guys. Hopefully he can move Lin's contract along with #25 and possibly TJones prior to the draft so he has room to sign Lowry while keeping Asik (or trading him for Milsap), or dumping Asik and creating enough space for Melo. Of the two, Lowry would probably be more impressed with a midnight meeting than Melo, as this would go a long way in soothing any lingering hard feelings towards McHale.

Or better yet, hedge their bets and send McHale to meet Lowry, and Morey to meet Melo!

I'd love Deng along with Lowry.

IMO that would be plan B after Melo. Just think if you could add Gasol for the MLE.

Drool so many different lineup possibilities and good depth. Parsons can stop playing 48 minutes a game too.
