Laugh all you want, but its not unreasonable to expect it to at least look as good as the other games on the consoles. Games like inFamous and Killzone look great. Also from what I've gathered there's issues other then the graphics
Just played the opening mission on pc, game is fun so far, if I didn't need to go to work tomorrow, I would put some serious hours into this game right now. Graphics on my system are nowhere near the e3 footoge they showed a few years ago. My setup: Intel core i7 4770 GTX 670 2gb 8gb ram I'm running a mix of ultra and high settings, but I can't even select running ultra textures because my card doesn't have enough vram. getting around 45-50 fps with smaa, wish I could run txaa x4 withouth fps dropping to the high 20's
This game is the ****. Running on all Ultra. Subpar frames per second but its not bad enough to kill gameplay. The world feels so alive.
People whinging about the graphics in this game are idiots. Deadset... It looks fantastic, it plays great...the more I play it and learn how to do more things the more fun it is. Driving takes a little while to get use to but I think its the same when you switch between any GTA/ Saints Row game like this. Even within their own series. I wish you could customize the clothes a bit more. I played Assassins Creed and really enjoyed it, and I can see some of the similarities between these two games, but its only every so often you get that feeling. If you like open world games, buy it.
So. Are you guys going for the ultimate Batman-esque good guy, or are you guys going full evil killing civilians and cops.
I went into the game not knowing ANYTHING about the story. I avoid spoilers like that. So I didn't realize you could be good or bad. So I've just been playing how I'd play it....and that happens to be the good guy.
ign and gamespot both give it an 8...solid. metacritic 81...so same ballpark. think i'll prob pick it up at some point. my comp should run it ok right? specs: 8 GB ram, processor: i5-3570k, vid card: GTX 670 EDIT: i'm definitely holding off on buying the game after reading the horror stories about the game lagging/stuttering for people. people with better rigs than mine getting lag/stuttering that its unplayable? CRAZY.
Looks like it's a solid game. Based on the initial hype, it should have been at least a 9, but a lot has changed since the early stages of press for this game, so at least it's not a disaster.
Spidertank, Spidertank Does whatever a spider can. Spins a web, any size, Crushes cops just like flies. Look out! Here comes the Spidertank!
Bought it last night for $30 online. Got the Uplay CD KEY in my email this morning, will try the game either tonight or tomorrow (I'm off from work). Hope it's fun, doesn't look anywhere near the 2012 E3 footage.....but still looks pretty damn fun on twitch.tv
This game needs some major updates/driver updates. My system consists of: i7 4770k A pair of superclocked evga 780 (SLI) 32GB rams Running off of SSD ...and my frame rate is getting murdered. Granted i am running it on my new monitor (LG 34UM95 at 3440x1440 resolution) but I should still be getting better performance than what I am getting.
