And I'd say the Rockets were innovators as far as emphasizing the "hero ball" concept. Rudy pretty much invented it by iso-ing Hakeem and surrounding him with a bunch of shooters. So, to sum up, the Rockets (via Rudy) basically invented "hero ball", the term pansies/Lin fans so vehemently detest.

I understand what you're saying, but I have to agree with Aleron...

But then again before MJ, there was Dominique Wilkins and after MJ there was Barkley who changed all the NBA rules...

The fact is, the only team that plays true TEAM ball in this era are the Spurs...

I know this is not on topic, but man, when I was little I loved Purvis Short.... that shot.... I would try to imitate it all the time... lol
