I believe Boston will move into the top 3 - the league would love to have both Boston and the Lakers relevant but considering how stacked the west is the Lakers are going to need a lot more than a top 3 pick to make the playoffs - Kobe's health is a huge uncertainty and the rest is up in the air in terms of who they may be able to sign. Boston is much closer to making the playoffs by virtue of being in the east - they have some good young players to build around and Rondo is underrated - he showed flashes of his old self in the games he played last season. I believe he should be back to his usual triple double threat when he is back. Boston with a top pick would make the playoffs in the east with the other moves they are in position to make. of course i tried ESPN lotto's machine once and it had Boston winning the top pick and lakers winning #2 so what do I know
I will be beyond pissed if Lakers get a top 3 pick and draft either Wiggins, Parker, or Embiid. lol, really? The Nets would probably have to give a team a first round pick to even consider taking DWill's corpse.
lol sounds more like NY smoke -- seriously I dont think the Lakers would make a move on Williams unless they keep their pick. No way will they give up a high pick and their cap space for williams. They would rather roll the dice on a high ceiling rookie and the 40 year old nash in what will clearly be transitional years
I don't think it really matters who gets the 1st pick. If you land in the top 4 you're gonna get a great player, so here's hoping Utah gets bumped to 5.

If the Knicks get the first pick without having a pick this year, that will be all the proof I need to believe the lottery is rigged
So let me get this straight, the Knicks do not have a pick in the draft, they might lose Melo in the offseason, AND they didn't make the playoffs this year. How freaking hard is it to be a Knicks fans right about now?
So which team winning provides the best storyline if you were Silver and wanted to rig it? Lakers, Celtics, and Sixers as top 3: Rebirth of the NBA's prestigious franchises
