He really wouldn't fix all the Rockets woes... Their defense would be even worse, they would have even less depth and the Rockets would get a third star that has been viewed as "questionable" when it comes to personality. Still, he is arguably the best PF in the NBA, he would improve the Rockets offense to the point where it would be the best in the NBA. His game offensively is tailor made for Harden and Howard... You would have H H and L all getting single coverage... Just nasty.
Are players really hating Harden that much? That pisses me off, sure he lacks at D but the man in a scoring machine and if it wasn't for poor coaching he might still be in the playoffs. People said he wouldn't work with Dwight yet both of them ended the season strong and played well together. Count me in the boat of people who DON'T want to gut the team for another prissy star. I think in today's league you can win with 2 legit stars as long as the role players around them are solid. Morey needs to fill this roster with veteran players and tell McHale to stop ****ing around and instill a offensive and defensive system. I'd be happy if we can flip Omer for a solid power-forward, then sign a solid back-up to Dwight. and finally get a veteran swingman that can actually play some defense.
Howard obviously. Did you watch the series against Portland? Harden showed no heart or effort. Dwight played his heart out.
This is the time where i miss DocRocket, he in his bizarre methodology tended to have less info, but it was generally of the more solid variety, tabloids vs news, lol.
James Harden is the only guy in nba history to be lambasted for his poor defense on an airball, it's pretty cool really...
It's like a restaurant owner hiring a chef who cooks average meals but recruits great waiters.
Wouldn't the dog days of summer be the perfect setting for Doc to make a glorious return? Ideally just before Houston nets themselves that 3rd shooting star. Splashtown here we come! All the talk of Harden's offensive defense, Howard's limited post game, and McHale's utter ineptitude disappear, along with Lin (and more importantly LOFs), off into the sunset. The stars are aligning and the time is almost upon us. May the Old Gods of i3asketball be favorable in awarding Houston with the prince that was promised. Morey is about to go stealth. Some people work in the dark...Morey IS the dark. God speed shadow king.
If we end up giving up Parsons I hope we can get Brewer. Downgrade on Parsons as the starting 3, but defender, can shoot and as we saw personally, he can go off. Brewer and Beverly on the perimiter with a more focused Harden and things look way, way up. I still hope Morey works his magic and can keep Parsons, but I'm warming up to the idea.
Lebron is not a role player. Any criteria that says Lebron has a negative value on defense and is the 224th best defender is seriously flawed. Forget cross position analysis the SF defensive rankings say that Mike Dunleavy is #9, Rudy Gay is #22, Chandler Parsons is #25 and Lebron is tied with Steve Novak for the #43 best defensive small forward. That's all in the SF category. We're not talking about Lebron being "underrated" a bit here. We're talking about them saying that he is a NEGATIVE defender (-0.28). That's ridiculous.
It'd be nice, but the way people reacted to him last off season, even when he was right about almost everything, i can understand the finality.
pretty sure if someone else posted that pic you would dickride, and say "great photoshop job!" but you don't like it because it was me that posted it. What a fucking idiot.
