[TV] List of Renewed and Cancelled Broadcast shows

Glad P&R stays on for a bit longer. Also glad they renewed The Goldbergs.

 

Was scanning that list to make sure The Goldbergs made the cut. I think this is the funniest sitcom on TV right now. Anybody else watch?

Modern Family gets renewed. I guess the ratings are still pretty good but I don't watch it anymore. It focuses too much on the kids, who aren't funny or interesting or good actors, and not enough on Phil, who is the funniest character on the show.

 

Goldbergs isn't the funniest, that would go to Surviving Jack(which didn't survive Fox's cut) but I do watch. I'd probably like it better if I grew up in the 80s instead of the 70s.

It's a shame Jack and Growing up Fisher didnt make it. I also agree with what was said about Robin Williams, I would rather watch him doing stand up and riffs for 30 minutes than watch his sitcom.

Almost Human had possibilities, a shame they went with the procedural route.

 

I think once Jones and Lowe left they cut their storylines and arcs by half, they probably also didn't capitalize on the Eagleton merger or fully incorporate characters from county and/or state as well as they could have.

 

I'm disappointed that Almost Human was cancelled - I liked that show, but I didn't watch it until about halfway through the season. I liked Revolution too.

I'm glad CW kept The 100 - its pretty decent.

 

I've never seen The Blacklist, but one of the writers is a local guy.

 

Its a decent enough show if the show description interests you.

 

Just read that Wiki page, wow. I think the last time I regularly watched he was shooting that West Wing guy in a food court, then some black chick was pointing a rifle at him, then he was in a limo with that girl from Entourage. I assumed they were just going to keep dragging that story line along and just work on developing the supporting characters.

First season of Almost Human was Great! Rest of seasons are just awful

Parks and Rec has been dreadful lately, to the point I don't even download it anymore.

Modern Family is still good. Not as good as previous seasons though.
They need to stop hiding Alex's new found... ahem.

 

I noticed that as well(then felt really creepy for doing so), she sprouted out in the way that young ladies do and they are doing their damnedest to keep them under wraps.

Random question....I still have the last 9 episodes of Revolution on the dvr since I've been working so much lately, and I have read that they went off on a tangent this year...is the rest of it worth watching or should I just free up 9 hours of HD on my dvr?

 

I am going to miss Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Larry Bird. Dick Butkus, not so much.
