You are correct about the Room MLE prorating down to about $1.85 million or so, but it does not continue to count against the cap at the full annual amount. It would count at the same amount as the actual (prorated) salary paid. Also, I believe Year 2 of any Room MLE deal signed at this point could pay no more than 104.5% of the actual (prorated) salary paid this season, not 104.5% of this year's full Room MLE amount.
It pro-rates down daily by either 1/170th or 1/171th of the original $2.625 million. I don't know how they figure the # of days in the season but the denominator is the # of days in the season.
I don't get the tweet, sounds like they were just there doing scouting stuff. I wouldn't read too much into it even if they met with him since by all reports they want to bring him over next season anyway.

You are right but if you could sign him for cheap, he could be a steal. He always wanted to come in the NBA. Has Llull ever expressed his desire to play in the nba because i don't remember ?
I think he was chomping at the bits last year to come, he will be more adamant this year. And I'm sure the Rox are wanting him as well, but Morey was smart, as he needs to clear space to sign a max guy, and the cap hit Koopa would have placed this year (if signed last) would have hurt, among the fact that we were up against the cap as is. 100% confident he is a Rocket for 2014/2015, after the 3rd max guy is here.
