What is this 'Defense' you speak of? I am not familiar with this concept and your strange ideas scare me.

Everyone knows that all it takes to win in this league is to just play hard!

Strategy, preparation and adjustments are all overrated

Maybe it's hard to imagine the Spurs staying this hot on the road? That could happen. Spurs in a great groove since game 7 v. the Mavs.

But it won't go 7 games.

The Spurs are not going to lose 2 or 3 games in Portland. They were almost as good on the road(30-11) this season as they were at home (32-9).

They also swept Dallas in the reg. season. And it went 7 games.

Spurs are clearly the better team. But since game 7 v. Dallas they are since in a great groove offensively. But I expect games to be more competitive in Portland. Shouldn't go more than 5 though.

I refrained from writing anything about the officiating regarding the Rockets and Portland because, as a dyed-in-the-wool Rockets fan, I was (and am) predisposed to believing the referees were overwhelmingly favoring the Blazers on every call. However, watching the first two Blazers-Spurs games, I believe that the Spurs are getting an overwhelming advantage on calls by the refs.

With even-handed refereeing, in my heart of hearts, I believe the Rockets would have been playing the Spurs.

Told you Portland would get demolished. I will be surprised if they take this series to 6 games.

Through the first two games of each series:

    Blazers : 66 FTA
    Rockets : 70 FTA

    -----

    Blazers : 41 FTA
    Spurs : 39 FTA

The spurs do a great job at playing defense without fouling but there offense is so pure that they barely go to the line themselves. What they do is try to take the officials out of the game for the most part... Except when they play Durant of course who seems to get every call imaginable. That's why they have such a hard time with OKC.

I think Portland is going to have their best game of the series tonight and win the game. It's basically their do or die game, but then SAS will crush them in the next 2 games.

Lillard will finally break out and LMA will have a much better game. The role players going to finally hit their 3's

Is that including Hack a Howard?
I'm not blaming the refs, but I'm not ignorant to the fact that they play a factor.

The spurs are a great defensive team, but you can't deny that LMA is no longer getting preferential treatment. This series is making Tiago Splitter look like a better defender than Asik!

Splitter at 10 million or Asik at 8 million?

Who do you take in a vacuum?
