Rockets plan has to be to get a technician for game planning and running sets. McHale is a ****ing moron so I'm not sure how we could possibly think this is the guy to lead us to a ring.
My god, just imagine Rick Adleman and all his screen sets with a club that features the best offensive two guard in the league, the premiere center of the NBA, and talent all around. I'd love to blame McHale's offensive deficiencies for this, and normally I would.. but the Rockets gave up over like 110 points every game but game 6... Now thats just horrid defense, no discipline, and no accountability. And thats where McHale's defensive deficiencies take home the crown. The guy is inept in all phases of coaching except be a "players coach" to a shooting guard who is never held accountable for his infinite number of defensive lapses and laziness. This team has serious serious potential, but McHale won't be the man to maximize it...
Someone get this poll to the rockets front office. Maybe fans can be the deciding factor on making McHale not come back. It's ridiculous, HE CAN'T COME BACK!

Rick Carlisle also lost 4-2 in the first round with Dallas in 2010. The Dallas Mavericks won the NBA championship in 2011 - with Rick Carlisle as coach.
If someone make a poll " Do you want Harden to be traded", i am sure it will be overwhelmingly positive, so i don't care about the result of this or any other poll.
Why don't you make the poll and find out. Because if you are trading Harden just to trade him, I would say no. But if your gonna trade him for something better, I'd take that. Don't tell people what they are thinking just to prove your point.
Daryl Morey tweeted the same BS the other day. Prior to 2010, Dallas had been to the Finals in 2006, the WCF in 2003, and the 2nd round 3 times. Plus they won 67 games in 2007. And their coach had led the Pistons and Pacers to the ECF in consecutive years. Care to point out anything approaching that level of success with this franchise or in McHale's coaching career?
SO what your saying is we need to hire a previous Coach of the Year who is defensive oriented AND runs set plays? I'm IN!!!!! As long as you don't give me a coach with a coaching track record of being a failure and noticable flawed. McHale a Great player? YES Great G/M? HAHA NO Great Coach? HAHA No
