CJ is crazy inconsistent... drove me NUTS in fantasy. Hot streak, cold streak. Not much in-between.

Throw MLE type money at Avery Bradley and see if Ainge matches

3 & D type of guy we need

I love Bradley, but he just recently turned down a ~$6M/yr extension from the Celtics (i.e. more than the full MLE) and is said to be looking for $8M+. I'm guessing some team will offer him as much or close to it, too.

As for Miles, no thanks, simply because he isn't much of a defender. No more one-way players.

Would be nice if we could have circa 2008 Raja Bell.

Rockets had interest but decided to go cheap instead. This was the key non-acquisition of our season. Besides Minnesota has no need for Jeremy Lin so trade is one sided.

Adelman coveted some of our players, but Adelman is out and Lin never played for Adelman.

We desperately need a wing defender. If he can shoot the 3 at a decent percent, even better, but even if he couldn't shoot I would take him.

Someone like Sefolosha or Tony Allen. Shoot, I would even try to trade for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. He can't shoot and he gets paid too much money, but he is young and athletic and a good defender.

I'm much more worried about our perimeter defense than I am about finding another shooter.

I love Bradley and would love him on our team. Can you imagine running out a defensive backcourt of Beverley and Bradley?

I would rather a defender with a little bit more size and not quite as expensive. Don't think we could get him.

Rockets didn't really "decide to go cheap" though. They offered Brewer the most money they had to offer at the time. The T-Wolves ended up paying him almost twice as much as the Rockets had to offer.

Nah. I'm with you that a wing defender is desperately needed, but shooting is still key. No more one-way players that other teams can take advantage of. One way or the other.

P.J. Tucker is pretty much the only guy I'd be interested in the MLE price-range. The only one who actually is both 3 and D.

This. The offense can be fixed if players actually made defensive stops, what we need are guys on the perimeter who can actually guard somebody. Bev filled that role but he's actually the only guy on our roster who can defend effectively, if he gets injured or subbed out then the defense tanks almost immediately. We need Bruce Bowen or Thabo like players, somebody who will score 5-10 pts a night on good efficiency but will still be able to guard the other team's best player.

Pbev was eurocop mvp, it's clear that he had talent. Morey is good at sniffing undervalued players. He can't turn stone into diamondsP

No, we need a player who has excellent defense, but can also be a threat offensively like rondo.

What the rockets lack is an athletic wing guy who can utilize his athleticism on the defensive end, knock down open threes on a consistent basis, and not mind getting sporadic rotation minutes while sometimes being benched for no apparent reason. Get er done Morey!!!

I wouldn't think the place for a less than 5' 85 lb filipina p*rn star would be on a roster of a nba basketball team but Morey could be right and I could be wrong.
