    Hip Hop's first Billionaire.

    Highly profane.

Apple is embarrassing itself now. Steve Jobs built an empire to see it crumble in his grave. Sad.

lol good for Dre on selling to Apple, but come on, son. Tacky behavior

I give him credit, though, for this accomplishment.

forbes estimated his new networth to be around 800 million, making him the richest rapper, a 100 million ahead of Diddy. Nice, good for him.

Good for him. not sure what op is trying to troll on the income equality. Long way from this kudos:

it wasn't just this accomplishment. The headphones thing is fairly new. I am sure he made some cash on eminem and snoop dog in addition to the nwa days. I wonder what eazy e would say.

Don't be jealous because he wipes quadruple your and a$$os net worth combined with his butt.

This Beats thing is phenomenal. Sold half a stake to HTC for $300 mil, bought it back at half that, and then flipped the whole thing to Apple? All for trendy headphones that teens eat up.

Not to mention Dre also bought Tom and Gisele's $50 mil mansion, it's been a few good weeks for him.

But I'm as dumbfounded as anyone why Apple is buying this. I have a hard time they could turn this Beats streaming into a Spotify rival.

he's pointing out that black multi millionaires spend all their time flaunting their wealth and acting like hooligans, but don't give a penny back to those in need or even the low income neighborhoods they came from. atleast those in entertainment related industries like music, sports etc.

HTC bought for 300 million, but sold it back for 150+265 so HTC made a little money. Beats has revenue of between 1-1.2 billion so it isn't like whatsapp or instagram or a company like that. They actually make money.

Except the reason why so many athletes go broke is they take of everyone from the hood. Look at ron artest and allen iverson.

IoT homie, eventually it's the software layer on top that will count and be expressed in hardware revenues.

yes, embedded headphones are next on Apple's to-do list apparently.

    Google Glass vs. Apple Beats.

    bringing the fury

Apple used to create marketing. They used to create innovation but now they are a phone maker that makes computers. I understand the acquisition and I'm sure the stockholders love it but the company just isn't apple anymore. No one is thinking different. It's like a trust fund baby staying afloat by buying other people's businesses.

everyone?? try close friends and family. not a community thing. you just named 2 athletes with the biggest hearts out there so they aren't in the 80% median. BUT, the reason most athletes go broke, of any race, is because of spending habits and terrible business decisions.. not helping a few close friends out. asisinine statement from you
