Tony Parker has a mid range game. That just makes defending him much more difficult.
I love Pop. He is such a good coach. That bunch of Oldies can last this long in a season is purely because of Pop's intelligence.

I still believe, a good regular season means you have quality players. You advance deep into the playoffs means you have quality coaching team.

The assistant I want from Pop's staff is Mario Elie. Love his attitude as a player and more importantly as a leader. Plus he has ties to the Rockets and has learned from TWO multi-championship coaches: Rudy & Pops

If Parker were on the Rockets he'd be coming off the bench LOL.

Defense is really what this team lacks. No D, no victory.

McHale is an OK coach at getting his team to run and controlling his players, but he is a horrible defensive coach.

    Controlling his players...?? lol...

Did you see the series against the Blazers, at all...?

We needed Elie and Olajuwon to motivate these guys... and Dwight pumping up Lin's confidence by invoking Linsanity just to win game 5...

How about Harden ignoring them all (because he clearly wasn't up for game 5) and McHale's direction in game 6 to "stay with your man", and calling for the switch...?

I swear McHale gets more credit for things he had nothing to do with, than he gets called out for his palpable incompetence...

Guys, I wasn't sure where to post this, and did not think it deserved its own thread, so am dropping it here.

Highlights from Round 1 - the best first round of any NBA playoffs. Here is just hats off to being part of that. There should be MUCH more of James and especially Dwight. That almost made me not post it, but ... just in case anyone else might enjoy it...

James only showed up for one game... what do you mean, there should be more...?

Dwight was there throughout the series... so, I agree with you there...

Portland looks so out of sync with Spurs playing real defense.

Because in the end, Portland's a jump shooting team. It's much easier to disrupt a jump shooting team than a team with a variety of offensive weapons.

like i said in another thread. portland is who we all thought they were. a bad defensive team that shoots jumpers with a star player that's not even that efficient.

the problem is the rockets weren't who we thought they were.

Half a game. He only had 1 made field goal in the 2nd half in game 6.
