If we can't get Brown,Gundy or ect. Maybe we need to look at a good college coach. I know it sounds crazy. But what about Rick Barnes look what he did for Texas in 2 years. His players love him. He can reach the younger players and maybe even reach Steve F. Just a idea.

We went from the biggest names...Brown, Van Gundy to this...college guys. Ouch. I say we make a move for Carlisle although Portland may have us beat.

Why would Portland make a move when they wouldn't let Cheeks interview in Philly? They would look foolish.

I love Rick Barnes, but he's not and should not be leaving Texas.

He can't even get his teams to play well against a zone, but he's a great coach who demands respect and has teams that play hard and play D.

There is a report floating around that they are now willing to let Cheeks walk if they can get Carlisle.

And how upside down the coaching world has been turned. I have never seen anything like this. In the last few weeks we have seen:

3 unexpected/undeserved firings (Rudy, Silas and Carlisle)

Portland saying they won't let Cheeks interview in Philly.

Portland then changing direction and saying (rumor) they will let him because they are gonna court Carlisle.

A source that says Van Gundy has agreed to the Cleveland job.

Van Gundy refuting those reports and confirming that he is still doing interviews.

A source that says Brown has agreed to the Detroit job.

Another source saying that Brown is deciding between Detroit and Houston.

    Its crazy.
