    My guess is that the owner, GM, and coach are getting together to discuss the short and long term goals/direction of the team. Just my opinion though....

    I hope Mchale gets an extension. I like reading people defend him and morey. Plus, I have calculus classes to take.

    Jeremy Lin retires. McHale is fired. Jeremy Lin becomes the new head coach of the Houston Rockets and now we have $8.3 mil in the salary cap. :D

    Actually, how would that work?

    If the coach or asst coach plays for free, or whatever the minimum is,
    then we could get Melo as an asst coach for $20M/year and him as a player
    for whatever the minimum is.

    Would that fly?

    WHy does everyone think this means he is gone? Maybe they might be...ahhh, talking about who to replace Sampson, what players they need to go after etc.

    A week ago or so, front office is bringing back Mchale. The game after spurs destroyed the blazers. On second thought, hey Mchale, can we talk about this in a remote area in Florida.
