Obviously they'd only take him if he were available. But I'd say it's a longshot for him to go #1 or to St. Louis at #2. Pretty good chance that he's there at #3.
Why do I get the sense that the Texans will end up with Jimmy Garoppollo? Is he even better than TJ Yates?
Clowney is still my preferred choice, but if they go Robinson I would be good with that too. Our right side of the line is horrific and adding an elite run blocker there would really help out the offense. I would absolutely love a trade down grab an extra 2nd and 3rd (and next years #1) and take whoever is best available at the time (whether it be OL, OLB or QB)
Clowney or trade back. St. Louis shopping their pick at 2 really hurts us but I still think we can get proper value out of the 1 if Atlanta or Cleveland makes the move.
By all accounts, he is the best QB in the draft, who also just happens to be a media star. Of course the Texans are set at the QB position, so I can understand why they'd pass on drafting him.
Luck and JFF in the same division, one in Indy and one in Jax. Sucks to be us Texan fans, well atleast we aren't Cleveland I guess.
Basically, teams are playing Pancakes to spread disinformation. Those leaks are 100% designed to sweat Cleveland at #4.
Robinson is intriguing, because you would immediately have the best O-Line in the league. He is Duane Brown 2.0. Still, you can't pass up on Clowney. He is too talented, and is the best physically gifted DE in the league as of tomorrow at 7:05pm Have you ever seen a quicker get off from a DE? I don't think we ever have.
Biggest fear is if they do all this trading and end up with no Clowney, no JFF but end up getting Bortles after its all said and done.. That would not be too good.
