True, but most teams have competent coaches as well.

Most teams have a good base of X's and O's, we have 3's and layups ;)

Im growing increasingly sick of this current era of doing things in Rockets basketball. Morey is a good GM but he should never try to make a coach implement his philosophy of how to run a team. Cohesive organizations understand their part in the script.

Bringing back Mcfail translates more of the same incompetent misuse of this team and I simply am not ok with running back this futility of frustrating basketball.

Sorry to rant, my feelings just kind of culminated there.

That's probably the main reason McHale was retained. This better work in the next 3 years or Morey could be gone as well.

It already did fail. We're just going to go through the same song and dance again in 2014-15.

How does Morey explain this ownage without noting coaching as a major factor?

    I don't get it...

I hope you're joking. If the Rockets flame out early in the playoffs just one more time(and odds are good they will if McHale is back), then that could be all she wrote for Morey unless he's got Kevin Love up his sleeve. Remember, the season after next is Dwight's final year on his contract. You think he's gonna re-up with the Rockets if his first two seasons here end in first round knockouts? There will be major changes a year from now if this upcoming season is another failure.

Because Morey's computer only assesses players. Coaches not so much.

But as i say that, even though we won vs the Spurs, they would unleash Kawhi on Harden...just wished we at least had that chance to see it...

    Once again...thank you Mchale...

What the Blazers need here is a hold, a hoop, a hold, a hoop, a hold, a hoop, a hold, a hoop, another hold, another hoop, a hold, and a hoop and they're right back in this thing.
