They have been favored to win it all this year, in Vegas, every single day since they won it last year

Yeah, and the Clippers weren't going to have a hard time with the Warriors.

    Didn't you that say that?

I'm making a point about the matchup issues...oh nevermind....

You can't touch me.....Put your money where your smart mouth is...

I'll bet you that the Heat don't win it all....

I'll bet you that the Wiz/Pacers and the Heat go at least 6 games.

And I'll take either LAC or SAS against the Heat.(assuming they make it to the finals)

All straight up too.... without the moneyline.

C'mon, step up and take a shot at the title.

Everything to the tipjar.....name the $$$$ amount.

Well Clips had a 2-1 lead prior to the Sterling fiasco. They basically surrendered game 4. That changed the series from a mental perspective for the Clips. They're a great team, but you don't win a championship without losing first year, barring a few exceptions. You build towards it.

We can do $100 to the tip jar.

LeBron haters better hope SA gets to the Finals. No one else really has a shot, and I don't even think a series with SA will be as close as it was last year.

    That's cool.

So, it's a straight up proposition that the Heat do/don't win the title?

I guess I got a little fired up there. Peace ....

    And, good luck.

Note on the Clippers - It IS going to be interesting how they respond. Normally, I would agree with you about building towards it and losing on the first run, but considering the circumstances/situation, it wouldn't shock me if they play their a$$es off and get help from the zebras. First things first though..Beating the Spurs is going to be a TALL task ...If LAC is rolling strong enough to do that, they have a great shot at the whole enchilada. If OKC somehow gets there, well....we'll see.
    Either way, I like our bet.....It's a fair/fun/interesting play....and, of course..goes to a good cause.

    Yes, straight up.

Fired up is good. That's what sports is all about.

Clips still have a lot of holes on their team for me to consider them ready to win a championship. And yes, they have to beat the Spurs, AND OKC. I still think OKC will win the series.

I think we all forget that the Heat still have Lebron. That trumps everything. And he has a healthier Wade this year. What they did to the Nets last night simply proved they coasted during the reg. season, including Lebron. Lebron had been more engaged defensively v. the Bobcats than during anytime of the regular season.

    Well t_mac1,

The possible consequences of LBJ and the Heat going down have become downright ironic. I still see him coming here being a longshot, one point being that the NBA wouldn't allow it for "basketball reasons". I'm in the minority who would prefer this to be about the Houston Rockets....not LeBron's team.....trumpeted as such on Sportscenter every night. I believe we can win multiple titles without him...nothing against LBJ..He's amazing...
I see the team jumping by him and the overall patching together of "Champions" as a symptom of all that has become wrong with sports these days.
I guess that's why it was refreshing for me to see the Spurs win...and the way they played/did it.
Our wager added a little juice as I watched this year since I don't play/bet for a living anymore. It was fun. Thanks.
If you want to taper that down to a more manageable $25 to the tipjar, that would be cool and I'm sure Clutch would understand/appreciate it.
