no it wasn't. The west was stronger and a lot deeper during his first three peat and MUCH stronger when he won his second three peat. No other team from the East was much of a challenge for an NBA title before or after Jordan's second three peat. Sure the 94 Knicks were good, but after that. All sweeps or short finals series.

And with the unfortunate (and surprising) implosion of the Pacers the East is now ever more of a "joke". Imagine it: Washington Wizards, number two team in the East.

It would be difficult for stars to migrate West, given the easier path through to the Leastern Conference Finals.

IF we could cleanse ourselves of Asik and Lin's contracts, I'd love to have Bosh. Can play the 4/5. Smart, plays defense too.

Still torn about Melo. Again, better for him to stay in the Least with another star. He and Dwight would work well if the third star were a true point guard, although Harden said (lied?) that he'd rather average less than 20ppg and get more than 10 apg.

Well, LeBron can be a free agent this summer if he wants.

I wouldn't want Bosh for a max contract. If we can't get LeBron, Dirk (for about $11M per), or Carmelo, I'd take Bosh at around $11-13M per on a 3 year deal. Still a tradeable commodity if it doesn't work well the next two seasons.
