The problem isn't team bonding, in fact, they bond too much already. Get these guys working with the best professionals in basketball and athletics, so they can improve on their individual weaknesses. Playing pick up on a vacation isn't the answer.

I hope James Harden doesn't get the Gaza strip confused with something else.

I think it is a great idea! Bonding is exactly the thing this team needs the most. I don't think that lack of talent is Houston's problem at all. Dwigth is religious and so is Harden. I can see their interest in this trip from that side as well. I don't think that Casspi does it to stay in the team even if I think he very much likes it in Houston. However, I think Casspi and Garcia will stay in the team due to their minimum contracts, which does not hurt the cap limit. Believe me, Morey knows what that means. Casspi and Garcia are both good enough players for their salary.

Lin and Asik are the trade pieces (because of their salary) that give Morey a possibility to operate in the market. Although they are owed $15 mil next year, the cap hit is only $8 mil, which may make a huge difference in tax to be payed. That's the simple business side of the NBA and how teams operate in it.

    Bev/Harden/Martin/Casspi/Asik

Gaza is a strip so Harden would be interested.

EDIT: Looks like I was slow with the joke.

Maccabi Tel Aviv is the best analytics team in basketball. They get into the final four with analytics than hope they can get lucky with hero ball. They used to be a contender until a decade ago.

So what happens when they are all over there together and Casspi get's a call that we have cut him.

That would be super awkward. I assume everyone would leave?
