I'm probably going to get crucified for this, but this series really raised my respect for the Blazers.
Naw, this series just pissed me off really. Respect for the Blazers? Meh. LMA is a great PF, Lillard is clutch, and Lopez is a solid center. But I still think that team is crap. Their bench is weak. Shady officiating, bad coaching, and some stupid mistakes go a different way and we win the series 4-1.
I'm glad a team that's been decimated with injuries to their stars / high picks in years past (Roy, Oden) is doing well this year. With that said, OP...really? REALLY?
I'd love to see the Blazers get swept this year by somebody...anybody. That'd be something worthy of replaying and remembering.
Not surprised it so Blazers centered. They had a lot of story lines: - Team hasn't won a playoff series in 14 years. - The NBA new "it" player and superstar to be: Damian Lillard - Death of Basketball innovator; Dr. Ramsay If I truly believed in the conspiracy that is the NBA (I'm starting to believe in it more every single day), those story lines far outweigh those of the Rockets' i.e. Howard's redemption, Harden's superstardom, The Chandler Parsons' Experience, etc. And when the storyline is more appealing for one team, that team is probably going to get the most calls and win the series in the NBA.
This board is full of Blazers fans. Why don't they just post on Blazersedge ? WTF with all those Lillard's and gaylazers threads all of the sudden?
