Dorrell probably hooked Lin up with some Asian hotties. Lots of Asians in Portland. Lin couldn't resist getting his dick wet.

I think you guys are reading too much into this.

It's like saying you're betraying God and Country if you hang out with a different group of friends for a night.

I really should've stayed away from the GARM for more than one day after the Rockets' lost.

You're right. Things are a mess around here.

I don't want to criticize any of the players, but then I get caught up reacting to posters who criticize some players/coaches while defending other players, and I get drawn into the toxic swirl, as do some others who don't dislike any of the players, just some of the player's devotees. . . . Gotta stay positive.

    You tell me.

Cut once before by the Rockets. Rumors that they attempted to trade him at the mid-season deadline. A base of fans that want to see him traded even if he has a decent season purely because of his fan base.

Would YOU feel deep loyalty to an organization that would trade you or fire you in a blink if they thought it was better for the team?

Loyalty is a 2 way street. And as long as he plays hard, I don't really care if he feels some massive sense of loyalty towards whatever team he is on. A professional team is basically a big money making corporation owned by Billionaires that entertains us through sports. It's not like he's waking up and not saluting the flag, he's an employee of Morey and Alexander.

Harden wasn't loyal enough to take a deep pay cut for OKC, and they drafted and developed him.

Dwight wasn't loyal enough to stay with the Magic despite him going to the Championships.

Lebron wasn't loyal enough to stay in Cleveland in spite of being FROM Cleveland.

Rondo put up all star numbers and there were still frequent rumors of him being traded.

Mark Jackson has given GSW their best basketball record in 2 decades yet it's still rumored he'll be fired.

Any fan who thinks that the vast majority of basketball players or coaches are primarily driven by some sense of loyalty is fooling themselves. Accept basketball for what it is... a league of professional athletes that are basically mercenaries and trade chips.

The Rockets were 1 of only a few times who even gave him a shot after he went un drafted.

If The Rockets didn't cut him, giving him an opportunity somewhere else, Linsanity never happens.

If Linsanity never happens The Rockets never give him 25 million, which by the way was more than ANY other team out there was willing.

I agree with what you said. These guys are essentially mercenaries and personally I don't give a damn about who he parties with, but I think he should be pretty damn thankful for what The Rockets have done for him.

Nicely written, but why should I accept your point when I can just be a whining redneck and circlejerk about how much of a traitor Lin is ?

Yeah, why would you be loyal to an organization that pays you 8 million a year and has your face plastered all over billboards and posters?

well, thank god we know one Rocket who's still loyal to the Rockets

Do you really fail to understand, what its like in the NBA? This is normal all across the league.

Just because you now know about it doesnt mean that it hasnt been common practice for the last few decades. Come out under that rock and get used to a common part of the NBA.

this thread is dumb. everyone who is complaining is mad that the rockets choked with McHale (we knew was going to happen). I'm mad too but in not questioning a players loyalty to a team over a function. before you jump and scream why don't you get all the facts first
