When you signed Howard you knew what you were getting with FT shooting. Even then as far as percentages go he was better even at that this series. Beyond that he was probably the best Rocket on the floor and was probably the one worked the most by the refs. Two techs that the league later took away in one series/four game is absurd. On the list of 'what went wrong' this series Howard is pretty close to the bottom.
We went to Dwight for the last 5 minutes every time basically. Harden had only 4 shots in the entire second half after going 8/11 in the first half. Then I read Rockets media and apparently Dwight FT shooting was very good that game. It's so funny how we always see different things.
How about making a thread about every missed fg in this series? Seriously guys, we have dozens of threads about palyer xy sucking, missing shots or turning the ball over. There's a red line going through every game, we lost as a team and nearly every player had terrible moments, no need to point out everything. Let's look forward and think about what we need to change, making a thread about every missed point isn't helping anyone.
Howard's not to blame - he almost single-handedly was the team in the 4th. It came down to that last shot by Lillard where he got a free pass and no one was guarding him of the inbounds pass. We should be having a Game 7 today.
yeah screw howard. among the best playoff performers but cant make his fts. he should've played harder at the free throw line
I'm thinking this might have been for the best loosing in the first round. I think these next three years are going to be a fun ride.
Man...sometimes it's like all Rockets forums need to just completely be shut down for a month after a series loss. Let people have a chance to not be dumb or something, I dunno...
He missed two after getting fouled on Lins crazy drive to the basket at the end. I was yelling at my tv for Lin to slow the hell down, but he tries some dumb layup that gets blocked with Lopez and a few other blazers right there.
