Are the Rockets ever going to play an eastern conference team again? They are 5-1 against the east, and could get right back on track with a nice eastern road trip. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
How does beating the weak kids in the East get them on the right track of beating the tough kids in the West? Mango ------------------ Lets get the Mo Go working! Test Your NBA Trade Ideas 1. You look at generating wins, while I expect improvement. It will be difficult for the Rockets to improve if they are never challenged to "play up" against competition that is superior. To be able to face a team from the East in the playoffs, they would have to win out in the West. Mango ------------------ Lets get the Mo Go working! Test Your NBA Trade Ideas 1. The Rockets play 5 of 9 vs. the East to start January. But the way the Rockets are playing lately, I don't see anything here to excite me: Mon 1 at Minnesota Tue 2 at Cleveland Thu 4 Detroit Sat 6 Utah Tue 9 at Toronto Thu 11 at New York Sat 13 Sacramento Mon 15 at Utah Tue 16 Toronto ------------------ GATER [This message has been edited by GATER (edited December 28, 2000).]
If they play like they played night they would lose to the East also. They sucked. All they did is stand around and wait for someone else to make a play or get a rebound. It was a total lack of effort and it seemed like 90% of the time on offense they just went down and jacked up a bad shot. Seattle knew how to shutdown the ISO plays and we looked lost like we didn't know how to do anything else. I turned the game off(first time this year) early into the 4th quarter. I got tired of watching these millionaires standing around looking dazed and confused. That includes Rudy too. Why would anyone pay to go see this crap. ------------------
