9... he did his job for the most part, i think that if he would have pulled the trigger on that Courtney Lee, Brandon Bass deal that we would of been in a little more prepared for this series. Every time someone blew by Harden, missed a three or when LMA scored I was thinking about that deal and how maybe we would match up a little better against them. We are still a piece or two away but I wouldn't want any other GM.

The one minor issue I had with Morey this year was he wasn't able to get those high value low cost players this year. He tried, but it just didn't work out. Garcia and Casspi gave us nothing in the playoffs. The Hamilton trade gave us nothing of consequence. Meanwhile, the Belinelli signing for the Spurs was a jackpot. While we made a trade for a young player who didn't play at all in the playoffs, OKC acquired Caron Butler which is helping a lot. I was going to mention Danny Granger until I saw he's given LAC nothing in the playoffs other than good garbage time in Game 2. We have the MLE this offseason so I hope that gets us a legit player that actually contributes in the playoffs. Preferably a defensive oriented player if our big name acquisition is offensive oriented.

More has done pretty darn good job in his tenure with the Rockets. He was given a team with two broken down stars going no where and turned the franchise around in a relatively short time. Many teams take a decade or longer to rebuild. The rockets were the youngest team to qualify for the playoffs this year and we legitimately had championship hopes. Its easy to be down on the rockets right now after last night loss but in the grand scheme of things our franchise is in great shape. We have a bright future. Many other franchises would kill for a GM with Morey's skill. I give him a 8.

Dude is a pimp. We will only get better. If there was another GM I dont think we would be positioned this well. Coaching choice I'm not so sure about.
Overpaid for James Harden, Jeremy Lin, and Asik. Has the talent but his offcourt issues are too much.
