13 People say "1"? LOL. Not that he has done everything perfectly, but acquiring 1 all-star per summer over the last 2 years is fairly impressive, no matter what happened this week.

He got us a great roster, but can he get us to the promise land? Keeping McHale has me slightly doubting him. Please prove me wrong. We need to ascend past the realms of mediocrity.

He can't be a ten since he has been a rocket for a while now and we lost in the first round. I think an 8 is more suiting. He has done a really good job but there have been a few situations that were questionable. Most importantly, hiring McHale, letting go of Dragic, Lin's contract and trading Lee for a second round pic.

In 10 minutes, 98 more people have voted "1". Now I know why my instinct was to stay away from the board for at least 48 hours.

Good but a bit overrated. Will forgive the guy if he gets rid of McHale for a good coach but I doubt that happens.

Stop blaming Les. Morey's running the show his way and unfortunately it didn't work in the playoffs. You wanna coach the team as GM? Well can't blame anybody else when things don't go right. Morey should be held accountable, no excuses

Gave him an 8. I don't think any GM is a 10 and docked him 1 more for his minor missteps.

I'll give him a 7 on Dwight and the D-Leaguers. The rest of his recent moves sucked. And the decision to bring back McHale could be fatal. Next year is do or die for Morey. He's put all his chips on the table and bet on Kevin McHale.

I think that he is a top 3 GM in the league right now, and with that being said, anything less than a 9 from me would be unfair.

Does that mean he has done a flawless job? No. Does that mean he has no room to improve? No.

I personally think we should get a new coach. But, Morey sees something in McHale. Perhaps it's his PR, relationship with his players, and freedom he gives his players on the offensive end. If you're a player, you are drawn into that. Morey knows he does not have a championship team YET. I think once we get our third star, Morey will let McHale have his opportunity, but will not be as patient as he has been this year.

To think about the tireless efforts Morey has given, his openness to his fans and media, his unique and revolutionary approach to how he makes his moves, his ability to almost instantly erase his mistakes, and so on.

I think Morey will no doubt not only bring a championship to Houston, but a favorite to win it for years to come.

Fat lot of good it did us in the playoffs... 4-0 sweep without a rookie's miracle shot, and outside intervention in the absence of head coaching...

I give him an 8. The only thing that keeps him from being a 10 is his stubbornness to stick by "Moreyball". The Rockets , no matter the players and the coach they have, are NEVER going to win big playing that's idiotic system.

Was gonna give him a 7 or 8 for bringing "1.5 stars in just 2 years.

But he gets a 4 in my book for not canning Mcfail. There is no way we keep this moron. No Freakin way.

So Mcfail would be a key for us to get Kevin Love? What if it doesnot work out?
Even if you get Kevin Love, then is he the sort of coach who would lead us to a title?

I hate to say this. But with a semi decent coach this year, we'd clinch the second round. Then we might have a chance of beating the Spurs or Mavs to reach the WCF. You might think it's impossible that they're only first year together but the talent is there.

Oh well, I guess we just have to cope with this crap for the years to come. I guess that's Dwight's destiny. It wasn't meant to be.

Went with 7 this year for the stupid self imposed deadline as well as trading Brooks away for Hamilton.

    Normally a 8-9 though.
