Despite everyone believing the refs jobbed the Rockets, Howard had plenty
of chances to get more wins at the line.

You cant win a championship when your goto big man misses this many free points

This is the difference between somebody like Aldridge and Dwight. Dwight is too feebleminded to understand how important free points are

Are you really trying to blame Howard for this? Are you the dumbest person on earth? He is the only player that showed up and played EVERY game.

This was NOT the reason we lost the series. This was the reason McHale was put into position to make a coaching decision that ultimately cost us game 1.

My point is everybody is blaming the refs for calls that Dwight was not getting when in fact, the guy had his chances.

Lin had 24 missed lay ups, Harden shot like 24 percent, Parsons gave up like 24 3's,T-Jones gave up like 24 offensive rebounds, everyone is to blame.

If Howard could hit his free throws at the NBA average, he would be such a dominant force, let alone if he suddenly started hitting at a Dream like 70% clip. Until that changes, the team just has to accept his poor free throw shooting as part of the the overall package. Just as they accept his lack of mid range game.

Dwight was fantastic this series and he was a man in the 4th quarter and his play basically gave us a chance in this game. I can't see how anyone in their right mind can criticize how he played in this series.

terrible analysis - dwight shot more free throws in the series - its part of his game because he is a poor free throw shooters teams play physical with him and get away with it. a lot of turnovers from dwight are due to fouls not called. even hubie brown noticed the major discrepancy in the way fouls were being called for Dwight and for Aldridge last night saying that the Blazers are playing much more physical against Dwight and are not getting called for it when the Rockets were.

dwight averaged 9 attempts per game in the reg season - it went up to 10.7 in the playoffs (though it was probably closer to 10 or less than 10 if you take away the intentional fouls from hack a dwight)

LA averaged 5.3 a game in the season and it jumped to 8.3 in the playoffs

jumping up 3 FTA a game is a ridiculous number for a big guy who primarily shoots jumpers

with dwight you have to take the bad with the good - unfortuantely the bad is his free throw shooting but he shot a respectable 64-65% in the series but the good he brought outweighs the bad. and the fans here are not upset at the 24 misses but the fact that there probably should have been several more attempts granted to dwight on fouls not called

This is the main reason why he has only advanced once in his 8 year career
